Intimacy Coordination

As an intimacy coordinator, I facilitate consent-forward spaces where performers feel supported to embody intimate scenes and empowered to identify and honour their boundaries. I hold training from IDC and TIE and have worked on award winning short and feature films. My approach is agile and responsive to the project at hand - I can offer broad frameworks, specific choreography, or anything in between. I feel strongly that intimacy coordination is not about ticking a production box or prohibiting expression, but deeply empathetic work, in which movement can be harnessed to mitigate harm and to vividly communicate the most vulnerable and revealing moments in storytelling.

I am currently working as an Associate Lecturer in Intimacy at PPA, supporting Dark Horse Theatre’s production of We’re In Love Actually, and developing a course on safer theatre making commissioned by The University of Greenwich in collaboration with Mrs C’s Collective.
